Ok, my nerd meter is literally going crazy right now. Toshiba and CBS have reached a deal that would bring the original television series into your living rooms, and into high definition. The first offering is season one which is a 10 disc set. That is not a misprint. A 10 disc hd-dvd set. The price for this beast is $199 but, and this is the best part, they are throwing in a remote control that looks like one of the old phasers. I mean, this basically guarantees that you will remain single for life, but isn’t this something you have fantasized about since your childhood. Well now you can act on these fantasies in your 30’s. Alone. With your dog named Tribble. Excuse me while I hunt for a pre-order. The nerdity is set to launch on November 20th. Comments |
